Why in France people don´t like to speak english?We know that one of the most spoken lenguages around the word is english. But what happend in France ?

I have been in Paris two times and when i asked for something in english some people get mad and they say me that they prefer to speak in spanish before in english. And why?
There re many theories. First, there is some historical things. France and United Kindom had an enmity for long time ago. This is a british problem, not an american. France and USA have a very different relationship, France has established his principes of freedom, equality and fraternity based on the American constitution, also the statue of libery was a french present for this country.

Then, french people like to preserve their culture. The british people have always been seen like picky persons, they are always different, for example, they don´t use euros, they drive in the other side of the car, etc. And they think that english is enough to be communicate with the rest of the word.

In all th countries apy that fo courtesy, the tourist should learn a few words in orden to ommunicate in the lenguage ofthe country that you a visiting.
